Please read Full Job Description, interested individuals please email resume follow by phone call Type 2 Customs Inc. is looking for highly talented, dedicated, and quality-focused individuals to join our teams as a Classic Vehicle Repair Coordinator in our Santa Ana Ca location. Job Summary Repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in a manner consistent with Type 2 Customs standard operating procedures. Job Duties Mid Level dis-assembly of vehicle in order to repair damage and prep for paint as well as removal and installation of interior, glass windows, exterior and interior accessories. Detailed Plan work procedure for each project vehicle Scheduling interior drop offs with upholstery shops to insure upholstery is complete and picked up within time frame of a giving project. Scheduling drop offs with Mechanic shops to insure vehicle is complete and picked up within time frame of a giving project. Ordering new replacement parts and accessories for each project Organized Storage of parts on each vehicle to insure same parts are assembled back on each project vehicle when back from paint shop. Repair or replace defective parts Mend damaged body and fenders by hammering out or filling in dents Operate a variety of hand and power tools Fill depressions with body filler Welding experience ( Not required But a plus ) Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills, and bolt or weld replacement panels for paint File, grind and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to the Paint Dept. Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: Auto Body course work and/or automotive mechanical knowledge a plus. Ability to work in a strict timeframe environment. Ability to drive vehicles with standard & automatic transmission. Detail-oriented; motivated self-starter; ability to follow instructions. Good problem-solving skills. High school graduate or GED equivalency. Must have a valid Driver's License, a safe driving record ( experience with hauling vehicles with truck and flatbed trailer a plus ) Welding tools a plus Starting $17.50 an hour - Cash
