Experience/Requirements/Job Functions: We are seeking bright and polished applicants with a business professional appearance to fill several immediate part-time positions staffing our trade shows at the Merchandise Mart. Security or solid customer service experience required. You must have a Vaccination Card documenting you have received at least two Covid vaccines. Must be able to demonstrate good verbal communication skills of the English language, attention to detail, observation skills, and solid customer service.
Must be at least 18 years of age, mature, have normal hearing and full color vision and be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time
Duties include checking exhibitor and buyer show credentials, giving directions to bathrooms, coat check, taxis and the show registration desk. Salary is $16.35/hour paid by check every two weeks. The CTA Brown Line has a stop in our building. Please apply in person in the Security Office, located on the east side of the first floor of the Merchandise Mart Monday-thru-Friday between 10am and 1pm.
