Long story short, we've been looking now for a little over a year for just the right one with no luck yet. My partner an I have been wanting a little wigglebutt daughter to go with our wigglebutt son (neutered), around the same breed (Pomchi), size (7lbs), and age (4yrs), that everyone in the house gets along with. Arleigh, our pomchi, gets along with most dogs his size, the rescue cat, Magpie, needs a bit of warm up time, and the dwarf rabbit, BamBam, well, he doesn't really get along with anyone so we're not really concerned with that aspect lol. I do have allergies, so it's really a dog-by-dog basis. The smaller the less to be allergic too, some burn my eyes, others there's little to no reaction and I love my SNUGGLES. Baths are once per week for Arleigh, but with $15 conditioner you wouldn't know it.... My partner and I sleep in separate rooms, so there's always a fight over "who gets the dog". We need to even out the numbers! We prefer a pooch with a solid hair game (medium to long-haired breed/mix) as the floof is strong in this household. We prefer a rehome, mid to chill energy (we're all avid nappers here), local so we can test run and make sure everyone is happy, especially the newcomer. We're thinking ages 1-4, again female, preferably spayed. Our vet is Daniel Island Animal Hospital, but we live in North Charleston by the Airport. We live in a townhouse with a large back field, Arleigh is trained for off-leash play. We also go hiking in the woods frequently here. While Magpie and Arleigh play occasionally, we really want him to have another dog to play with and another male is out of the question because of his territorial behind.
