Hi! I just moved back to Charleston recently and I am looking to start an original project. I am a 28 year old male that has been playing drums for 10 years and I play a wide array of genres from rock, indie, jazz, blues, funk, and hip hop. I am looking to start a serious band with the full intention of gigging around town (and possibly touring). I have a full time job so practices would more than likely be after 5pm on weekdays and open on the weekend. I am looking for dedicated individuals who want to create something amazing. I am also looking for people who take this band as serious as their day job. While I have no intention of quitting my day job, I would love to take this band as far as possible! Therefore I am looking for people with likemindedness. Individuals with their own equipment and transportation is a must and recording gear is also a plus. This project is for people wanting to create originals, not play cover music. THIS WILL NOT BE A COVER BAND. As for practice space, we can practice short term at my place, however as the band develops I would fully expect to get into a rented unit once the band is put together. Below are the positions I am looking to fill. Band Members Wanted: -Lead Guitarist -Rhythm Guitarist (Not necessary) -Bass -Keys -Brass (not necessary) The idea is also to find the right members for the band via improv jams. A series of jam sessions will be set up to build out the band to ensure that the right people are chosen. Practice will likely be held at minimum once per week.
