Let's explore together! Vive NW and TV Jam invite you to snowshoe with us up to Tamanawas Falls on Mt. Hood National Forest on Saturday February 5th! Tamanawas Falls is a family friendly 3 mile round trip trail packed with beautiful views and a moderate but fun and rewarding snowshoe hike! We will have lunch while we bask in the beauty of the 110 foot waterfall. Snowshoes and transportation are provided Face masks are required for this adventure! Suggested age: 10 and up. *Minors must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian* Additional details: Date: Saturday February 5th, 2022Time: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm (meeting time 7:00 am and departing sharply at 7:30 am)Meeting Point: Gateway Transit Center: 9900 NE Multnomah, Portland 97220 Transportation: Included!! We will meet at the Gateway Transit Center and depart in Vive NW's sprinter van! **Please keep in mind that Vive NW can provide trasnportation for 15 passengers** You are more than welcome to drive your own vehicle. What to bring: Keep in mind that this adventure is in the snow. Please dress appropriately for this activity (snow boots, snow pants, thermal wear, warm jacket, etc.)Avoid wearing cotton, wool and waterproof clothing is highly recommendedGloves, hat, and scarfsA water bottle (2L per person)A day bagLight snacks and a hearty lunchExtra set of clothing, including an extra pair of socks Your facemask and hand sanitizerYour phone to take pictures!
