Help us achieve our fundraising goals as we all jump in the freezing water of Lake Stevens! Hot cocoa and a pop-up tent to warm up in after Join us as we plunge into the icy Lake Stevens water! Event timeline:11:00am - Welcome 11:30am - Plunge! (Fun costumes are welcome!) 12:00pm - Warm up with cocoa and blankets We are raising funds to support our club's causes, upcoming trip to Guatemala, and the Snohomish County Equity Alliance! Our goal is: $3,500Some of our clubs causes include: Snohomish County Food Project: An effort to bring neighborhoods together and support the local foodbanks. You can learn more, and/or sign up, here!International service in Guatemala: Working alongside the Hands For Peacemaking Foundation to serve the populations of North Western Guatemala. Our members plan on participating in the April 29th-May 8th trip!Park Clean Ups: We travel to various spots within Snohomish County to remove both invasive plant species and trash accumulated in public settings. Items like metal pickers are future investments that would allow us to work more effiecently while staying clean and safe. Japanese Hornet Trapping: A summer seaon project to help eradicate the invasive insect species within Wa state and the greater PNW region.A portion of the collection will also be given to the Snohomish County Equity Alliance. The SnoCo Equity Alliance is a public group created to provide mutual aid to those in need within Snohomish County. The Rotaract Club of Snohomish County is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
