JumpStart, a prison ministry dedicated to restoring the lives of inmates on the inside and outside of prison, is coming to Ohio! JUMPSTART started as a South Carolina based 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the lives of inmates on the inside and outside of prison. This mission is accomplished by addressing the spiritual, educational, employment, healthcare, housing, and family relationship needs of current and former prisoners and assisting with their reentry into society. JUMPSTART has achieved a 96% success rate for participants who complete both the inside and outside programs. JUMPSTART has become active in Alabama, Georgia, and as of February 2022, will be active in Ohio. In partnership with the Ohio Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, JUMPSTART OHIO is scheduled to launch at the Dayton Correctional Institute in February 2022.
