Tru-Clean Surface Care is growing again and we are looking for a carpet cleaning technician and a general helper that can advance to the position of technician. Tru-Clean Surface Care is a Certified Partner with the prestigious Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and the International Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI). We are a Wool Safe Service Provider, A+ Rated by the Better Business Bureau, and an eight-year-in-a-row-winner of the coveted Angie's List Super Service Award. The technician position requires experience in carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning. This position is full-time, Monday thru Friday with one Saturday a month required. The salary will consummate with experience. The technician should know how to operate a truck mount, understand cleaning solution capabilities, have stain removal experience, know how to operate a carpet and upholstery cleaning wand, able to lift 50lbs comfortably, have excellent customer service skills, and be a team player. There will be a ride-along period with one of our technicians to bring you up to speed on the "Tru-Clean" way of cleaning and customer service. The helper position is designed to help introduce and train the right candidate in all phases of our operations including Oriental rug cleaning, stone restoration, carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning. The helper will assist technicians as needed and work in the shop as required. Must be able to lift 50lbs comfortably, take direction, and be willing to advance. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday thru Friday with availability one Saturday a month required. Our goal is to advance the helper to a technician position when the skill level matches the company's high-level expectations. The helper position begins at $14 per hour with a 90-day review of $1.00 per hour plus company bonuses as earned.
