MHS Cheer Clinic for 7th and 8th Graders

MJHS 7th and 8th graders are invited to attend a cheer clinic held by MHS Cheerleaders on January 24th, 2022. Students who attend this FREE event will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading such as stretching, conditioning, stunting, jumping, cheering, dance, and rallying a crowd. This clinic is open to any 7th/8th grade student. This is an especially great opportunity for anyone who is thinking about trying out for cheer in high school, as it gives you foundational skills to practice before tryouts. It will also provide a sense of familiarity and comfort with learning material so tryouts will be a breeze! Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, and hair pulled back. Participants will also be required to wear a mask at all times. Parents are asked to pick-up their students at the front of Southside School at 5:30pm. There will not be a showcase for this clinic.
