Cap’n Mark and Frances the Inflatable Tiger Shark will be on hand at Storybook Theatre on Saturday January 29th from 10:30 until noon. Cap’n Mark will be telling stories for young people under 12years who are accompanied by their parent or guardian. Children will be allowed inside of Frances and will learn about the life cycle, behavior and migration of our very own predators of the deep in the Hawaiian Islands. There will be Tiger Shark coloring activities and a nutritious snack served. Storytime at Storybook Theatre is a new program as a part of the Heritage Media Center. The purpose of The Storybook Theatre of Hawaii is to enable Hawaii's school children to experience and participate in the performing and media arts, SBTH also perpetuates the cultural values and heritage of the peoples of Hawaii and the Pacific.
