I'm looking to hire someone to help me during the upcoming Gem show in Tucson. I'm looking for someone who is familiar with gemstones and has sales experience. If you have experience working the gem shows or making jewelry, that is an additional benefit. My product is strands of gemstone beads. We sell to wholesale business customers only, not to the general public. Your responsibilities will include: -assisting customers with reading prices - identifying gemstones and treatments (which we can help with) - upselling additional products and quantities, and general sales duties - Assisting the other salespeople in selling to customers by writing up their purchases/invoice details as they direct you - Assisting in the setup and pack up of the booth as directed. Days: January 31st - February 6th Timings: 930AM - 6:30PM (Feb 6th - until 8PM) Requirements: - Available all days and time - Ability to get to/from the Tucson Convention Center (parking is a bit pricey so consider that when determining your pay or using public transportation or getting a ride to/from the venue). - Proof of vaccination (as required by the Tucson Convention Center) - Government provided Photo ID - Ability to work quickly and handle multiple customers while they wait for me to assist them - Business casual attire Payment: This can be made in cash daily or at the end of the job.
