DESCRIPTION Join your Blush friends and fam for a floral design sesh with Jaclyn Gough aka The Skinny Vase! She'll guide you step-by-step through the design process, flower care and color palettes, and share how she creates her beautiful designs. Grab a girlfriend and join us for a night of flowers, wine, and desserts. MATERIALS Please bring garden shears. Everything else will be provided. CHILDCARE Childcare will be provided for $10/child. THE ARTIST Jaclyn Gough resides in Raleigh, NC as a Certified Floral Designer through the Baltimore Community College of MD and the American Institute of Floral Designers. She has been in the floral design industry for over 10 years. Before starting her own business, she worked for various retail shops while living in Baltimore, Maryland; her hometown and luxury event companies in South Florida for 5.5 years. Her specialities are creating wearable flowers, detailed arrangements such as bouquets, aisle decor, centerpieces for celebrations and designing for luxury weddings and events. Her philosophy is that all flowers should not be forced in any way shape or form and should have enough room to breathe and move in the way they were grown. Jaclyn is passionate and dedicated to making all your dreams come true through floristry no matter what the budget. When she’s not designing weddings and events, she enjoys competing in flower design competitions throughout the state of NC and writing for Floral Design Magazine, a New Zealand publication. ABOUT BLUSH Blush is the first women-focused coworking space with childcare in the Cary, NC. We wanted to create a coworking space with a few key differences. We are open to all, but want to focus on creating a safe and welcoming space for women to work, collaborate, achieve and flourish. Traditional coworking spaces are generally located in city centers or downtown areas, but we chose to focus on coming to our members and making it easy to drop in, whether it’s just you, your team, or even with children in tow. We believe that childcare should not be a luxury, and realize what a huge factor reliable, safe childcare plays in any parent’s potential to be productive or creative.
