MCRSP Annual Conference all day on Monday, March 7, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Jefferson City. Tuesday is Recovery Day at the Capitol! MCRSP will be holding its Annual Meeting and Legislative Conference on Monday, March 7, all day at the Courtyard by Marriott in Jefferson City. A reception with the new Missouri Department of Mental Health Director Val Huhn will be held Monday evening at the hotel from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Tuesday, March 8, is Recovery Day at the Capitol! Everyone in the recovery community is invited to meet at the Governor's Office Building (aka the Governor's Hotel) at 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101 in Room 450, the 4th Floor Ballroom. After a short welcome and presentation at 8:30 am, participants will go to the Capitol at 9:30 am to meet with their legislators. The Monday, March 7, conference will begin with Registration and breakfast at 8:00 am. For those interested in learning more about the NARR housing accreditation process, a short listening session will be held. The main conference begins at 9:00 am and will include presentations from SAMHSA, the Department of Mental Health, Department of Corrections, Department of Social Services and a presentation on how to work with the treatment programs in the state, including the new crisis stabilization centers. Emphasis will be on diversifying funding for recovery support service providers and knowing about other programs where you can refer clients.
