Learn to create perfect Royal Icing! Are you struggling to create the perfect royal icing consistencies? This class will provide you with hands on instruction to create all four icing consistencies; stiff, piping, medium flood and flood. I will demonstrate mixing a batch of royal icing. Then, you will color and create different icing consistencies and use your icing to decorate 3 cookies. Basic knowledge on how to create a smooth cookie base with royal icing is required and previous attendance to my Beginner Class is preferred. Each student takes home an informational packet, 3 cookies that they decorated and the icing that they prepared in class for further practice at home. All supplies are included, even cookies to snack on. Class is 2 hours, $80 per student. Limited to 10 students, adults age 14 and up Only registered students will be permitted in the classroom. Sweet Scarlet Baking is a home based bakery located in Ballwin, MO that specializes in custom decorated sugar cookies and cookie decorating classes.
