Pass the Mic: an in-person panel discussion elevating marginalized voices in cycling at the Northwest Arkansas regional and national levels. Event OverviewTrailblazers + ETHIC's Pass the Mic series is back for a third installment coinciding with the 2022 Walmart UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships and presented by Experience Fayetteville. These in-person panel discussions are aimed to bring the Northwest Arkansas community together to listen, learn, and problem-solve ways to better diversify our region's trails, cycling, and active transportation scene. Hearing directly from professional athletes, advocates, and members of the NWA community, attendees are invited to lean in and listen to experiences from the community. This event is open to attendees of the 2022 Walmart UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships, the area’s cycling leaders and business representatives, partner organizations, and community members looking to learn and take action. **This event will also be streamed on ETHIC's Facebook account for those who cannot attend in person. Those who will not be in person should not register. This is event will follow a group ride with Bike.POC and All Bodies on Bikes. Find more information here and RSVP to ride. Please have one of the items from the list below on hand during entry to comply with COVID-19 entry requirements: Vaccination card- ID required Picture of vaccination card showing full name and birthdate- ID requiredProof of negative test obtained no more than 72 hours prior to entry showing full name and birthdate- ID requiredTo find a testing location near you, please visit hhs.gov/coronavirus/community-based-testing-sites Masks are required for everyone over two years of age while indoors, except when actively eating or drinking. Drive or RideDriving? For those driving to the event there is on-street metered parking or free space in the parking deck behind the post office on S Charles Avenue. There will be a handful of accessible parking spots reserved at the venue at no cost and will be on a first-come basis. Riding? For those riding bikes to the event (and/or participating in the group ride) we will have bike valet available from our friends at Pedal It Forward. Be sure to drop them a donation as a thank you and to support their belief that everyone should have a bike.
