Come share and discuss your own personal artifacts and papers that explore desegregation in public schools!
During this “harvest,” community members are invited to bring and share their papers, photographs, objects and stories, and participate in a conversation about the significance and meaning of their materials related to school desegregation in Minneapolis. Each artifact is then digitally captured and then shared in a free web-based archive for general educational use and study.
Hennepin History Museum brings the diverse history of people in Hennepin County to life. We help people understand their world through an exploration of local history with exhibits, public programs, a magazine, and a public research library.
