Description

Imbolc is a festival of new beginnings. Join me to learn about this ancient festival celebrated by our ancestors, and meet new friends. I’m Bethany, founder of Sacred Sage Unleashed. I work with women to release emotional trauma surrounding family storylines, inherited ancestral trauma, and unreleased present-day emotional trauma. I also facilitate earth-based spiritual circles and ceremonies for women who desire to embrace the energy of our ancestors, who were connected with the earth, the rhythms of nature, and the cyclic nature of energy. Speaking of cycles, Imbolc marks the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Vernal (Spring) Equinox, which means we are still in the dark half of the year. Our ancestors would've had dwindling food stores and resources to get through the remainder of the winter, at this point in the cycle. They would've been looking ahead to a new season, to planting, to crops that yielded a great harvest and supported another season of survival. Setting intentions and ritual celebration of new beginnings would have been very important to them. Join me Sunday, 1/30 from 3-4:30pm for a festive, heart-centered gathering. I will share a little about the history and traditions of Imbolc. We will then join in a ritual of new beginnings, that is part craft project and part intention setting for blessings throughout the year. We will end with a circle. Bring your intentions for a bountiful year, a couple small objects (pinecone, seed pod, flower, broken piece of jewelry, etc) that can be tied to the end of a ribbon. Weather permitting, we will be outside in a covered area for our ritual and circle. ✨Ceremony and Ritual ⚙ Wheel-of-the-Year Celebration 👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏻Fun with friends Details: Winter Solstice Tea Party Sunday, January 30th 3:00-4:30pm MAD! Workspace 290 South Main Street, Suite 300 Alpharetta, GA 30009 See you there! Sacred Sage Unleashed holds monthly women's circles, called Healing Conversations with Awakened Women, to facilitate the healing process by releasing dense and emotionally heavy energy from the body. Circles are intentionally held on the night of the full moon, to assist with clearing and releasing energy. Circles are a safe space for women to come together and work through emotions without fear of shame, guilt or isolation. So many participants have found the desire to open up and release in the supportive environment of the circle. Each circle is closed with either a meditation or an exercise focused on releasing trauma and putting the participant in touch with the subconscious wisdom carried in her lineage.
