Press release from HMC Hospitality Group: Jan. 11, 2022 HMC Hospitality Group who owns and operates 22 Hooters Restaurants and 5 Hoots locations in Tampa Bay and Chicagoland has made several recent promotions within their marketing department. Tampa resident and Clearwater native, Leah Roberts has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management for HMC Hospitality Group and affiliated companies. Roberts has helped evolve HMC Hospitality Group in numerous digital, social, and online initiatives; elevating and managing the Hooters Girl in promotions and advertisements; and directing many internal collaborations. She continues to maintain the Hooters and Hoots brand standards and will take on additional responsibilities in her marketing role. Previous roles with the company include Promotions Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator and most recently Director of Marketing. She also serves on the Hooters National Marketing Committee. Roberts joined Hooters marketing in 2003 as an intern while attending Florida State University. Robyn Friedman has been promoted to Senior Marketing Manager. Friedman who resides in St. Petersburg joined the company in February of 2020 and has helped maintain the marketing presence in the community. She has taken the lead on many internal marketing initiatives. Prior to her career with HMC Hospitality Group, Friedman spent six years in the marketing industry. She is a graduate of University of South Florida. Lesley Price a native of the Tampa Bay area has worked for HMC Hospitality Group for 27 years and now joins the marketing department. Price will expand her responsibilities as Community Liaison in Tampa Bay and will continue her role as Director of First Impressions. She will also assist with charitable and community involvement in Tampa Bay and Chicagoland. Price began her career as a Hooters Girl working at the Clearwater location for 10 years. Price resides in Treasure Island/ St. Petersburg.
