Join us for lunch at Baxter to learn more about the Laker EOC program and how they can help you reach your personal career goals! Someone may have told you that "college isn't for everyone" implying that it wasn't for you or that you weren't college material. Well, guess what - they might be right. Traditional "college" may not be right for everyone, but everyone has a right to higher education. Higher education is simply education beyond high school. You ARE higher education material, and you can choose the post-secondary education path that aligns with your personal career goals. Sharalle Arnold will be joining us at Baxter Community Center to talk more about all the services that the Laker EOC program provides and how they can work with you to help you take the next step in reaching your career goals! Baxter Community Center is a non-profit organization in the heart of the Baxter neighborhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We strive to be a response to human needs by providing a variety of programs for neighbors of all backgrounds. At Baxter, you’ll find medical and dental services, a nationally accredited child development center, after school programs, food and clothing services and much more.
