12th Annual Spartan Winter Tailgate The event will give Spartan fans across West Michigan a chance to celebrate another great season of football and a Peach Bowl victory. The West Michigan Spartans will be honoring The Michael Sadler Foundation with this years Legacy Award. This award is given to a Spartan football player, coach or supporter that has excelled off-the-field and gives back to their community. The mission of the Sadler Foundation is to inspire and empower students to realize individual potential with strong character. Proceeds from the Raise Your Shield donation will benefit the Michael Sadler Foundation along with the West Michigan Spartans Outstanding Junior Award Scholarship that provides scholarships to West Michigan students. Doors will open at 6 PM with the program kicking off around 6:30 PM The West Michigan Spartans are the official alumni club for Kent, Ottawa, Allegan, and Barry counties representing over 28,000 MSU alumni.
