Join us for an important seminar on your end of life options for you and your family. As Salaamu Alaykum wa RahmatuAllah, You are cordially invited to an end-of-life care seminar organized by the United Muslims Masjid’s Ageing with Dignity Committee and in conjunction with the Philadelphia Masjid. The event is designed to walk you through actions and documents that will help guide your family through you last wishes after your return to Allah. They include: • Development of an advance medical directive; • A presentation on wills; • Discussions on palliative and hospice care from an Islamic perspective; • And finally, a discussion on pre-planned janazah burial options. Date: Sunday, January 16, 2022 Time: 9:00 am-12:00 pm Location: Khadijah Alderman Funeral Services, 1924 West Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19140 Continental breakfast and refreshments will be served. There is free on the street parking a well as a few limited spaces available in the Alderman parking lot. This event is “invite only” and RSVP is required.
