MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee police arrested a 41-year-old man on Tuesday who is accused of armed robbery after a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed at a robbery in a city Burger King on Jan. 2. The man, who is unnamed but is identified as a Milwaukee resident, will face criminal charges from the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in some days, the Milwaukee Police Department said in a statement. Police are still searching for Derrick Ellis, 34, who is accused of shooting the 16-year-old cashier Niesha Harris-Brazell, FOX 6 Milwaukee reported. Surveillance video shows an employee firing a gun at someone robbing the store, according to a criminal complaint. Ellis has been charged with possessing a gun as a felon, The Associated Press reported. The shooting happened in the 5100 block of West Capitol Avenue about 10:25 p.m., police said. Harris-Brazell was seriously injured at the scene at later died at a local hospital.
