BROOKLINE, MA — The Emerald Necklace Conservatory is bringing back its "Lights in the Necklace" display in Brookline and Boston from Tuesday, Feb. 1 through Sunday, March 20. The lighting installation celebrates the power of local urban parks to bring people together, provide inspiration, and light the way in challenging times. The Emerald Necklace, designed nearly 150 years ago by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, includes over 1,100 acres of land with more than 30 bridges. During the "Lights in the Necklace" an emerald glow is added to several of the most iconic bridges, including Boylston Street Bridge, Liff Park Bridges, Chapel Street and Bridle Path Footbridges, Longwood Avenue Bridge, Leverett Pond Footbridge, Ellicott Arch.
