WOODBRIDGE, VA — A car was shot as it turned onto Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge on Sunday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Authorities said that no injuries were reported.
Around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9, a man called police to report a shots fired incident. The victim, a 25-year-old man, told police that he was turning from Minnieville Road onto Prince William Parkway when he heard a loud noise.
The driver then pulled over to check on his vehicle. He found damage that indicated his car had been shot, police said. No other property damage was reported.
A police K-9 and a helicopter from the Fairfax County Police Department responded to search the area for a suspect. No suspect was located on Sunday, according to the police report.
