TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Police Foundation is raising funds to build a courtyard at the police department to honor police officers who served the township. The courtyard will include pavers with the names of every officer and their years of service, along with the department's shield. Checks to support the project can be made payable to the Toms River Police Foundation and mailed to the police department, PO Box 876, 255 Oak Ave., Toms River.
