BOWIE, MD — The Bowie City Council has voted to keep its recreational facilities open in the face of rising COVID-19 cases and not require proof of vaccination to enter. However, masks still are required to go into the ice arena, gymnasium and museums. City council members made the decision at a special meeting Monday night.
The Maryland Department of Health will be opening or expanding COVID-19 testing sites across the state. Three are in Prince George's County and two are drive-through. No appointments are needed.
