Description
PRINCETON, NJ — Two Trenton residents were found with drug paraphernalia after they were caught stealing $952.84 worth of liquor at Wegman's in Princeton, West Windsor Police said.
Miguel A. Arocho and Edwin D. Cruz had already left the store when officers arrived on reports of shoplifting, West Windsor police said in a Jan. 8 release. The incident occurred on Nov. 30.
When an officer spotted Arocho and Cruz, he ordered them to stop, but they abandoned their cart full of liquor and ran, police said.
Arocho was also found in possession of a hypodermic needle, while Cruz was found in possession of a "crack" pipe., police said.
Both Arocho and Cruz were processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future dates with Mercer County Superior Court.
