3 Teens Wounded In Mercer County Shooting: Police

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Three teens were injured in a shooting that took place on Sunday night in Mercer County, Ewing police said. Two 18-year-olds and one 17-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said. On Jan. 9 at 10:15 p.m., police heard numerous gunshots in the area of Parkway Avenue and Pennington Road in Ewing. When officers arrived in the area, they initially did not find anything. However, minutes later, a vehicle with a gunshot victim approached the officers, police said. The victim was given first aid and taken to a local hospital. Officers later learned that two other gunshot victims were already taken to Capital Health Hospital in Hopewell.
