MORRISTOWN, NJ — A return to in-person town meetings didn't last long for Morristown. Town meetings will switch back to fully virtual events, beginning with Tuesday's Town Council session. The town returned to in-person meetings in late November after going virtual since the pandemic began. Officials offered hybrid setups so people could also view the meetings from home and call in for public comment. But the town announced Tuesday afternoon it would shift back to the virtual setup for all meetings, unless noted otherwise. That will begin with the Town Council session at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Click here for the agenda and instructions on accessing the meeting. All town meetings will be held virtually unless otherwise noted. The Morris School District continues to hold Board of Education meetings in-person. Thanks for reading. Have a news tip? Email [email protected].
