Press release from City of Fort Worth: January 10, 2022 Plan to attend a virtual design meeting concerning the construction of a 24-inch-diameter water transmission main on the west side of Fort Worth, south of I-20 and west of Chapin School Road. The 24-inch main will be built perpendicular to the proposed Westside III 36-inch water transmission main that will extend from the Westside Water Treatment Plant on Old Weatherford Road to just south of I-20. The majority of the Westside II 24-inch water transmission main is in Fort Worth's extraterritorial jurisdiction, southeast of Council District 3 and west of Benbrook.
