Here are the top stories today in Franklin: Franklin Mayor, Dr. Ken Moore, has presented a proclamation honoring the Franklin Special School District Board of Education for their work done in service to the city of Franklin. He specifically thanked the District for their support of the city's mental health initiative, Find Hope Franklin. Additionally, the District was recognized as the TSBA Board of Distinction, by the Tennessee School Board Association. (Williamson Herald) After a brief two-and-a-half-year hiatus, the popular Franklin restaurant Halfway Market and Diner reopens. The restaurant has moved to a new location at 1419 W.
