Church looking for a Keyboardist. This person MUST LIVE IN THE MIDDLE TENN AREA* Person will be moved into the Minister of Music Role as well working with the Pastor. Please see brief Job Description below* • Ability to play the keyboard as part of leading congregational singing and in order to accompany musical performances of the choir/Praise-Team and for special events • Ability to work with a variety of age groups and types of music. (i.e. gospel, contemporary Christian, traditional hymns) • Ability to work well with others. • Ability to take direction from the Pastoral Team, and work as a team member. • Ability to improvise and sight read music when necessary. • Ability to coordinate music selections and dates with the choir director, handbell choir director, vocalists, and praise team • Ability to work with the pastor in the general planning and conveying of information about the music program. • Ability to arrange and coordinate guest musicians. • Ability to be punctual and flexible. • Check E-mail and Respond Regularly/Daily • Participate in Staff Meetings/Leadership Meetings * Need to bring own Keyboard for Setup and Take down * Build a Praise Team/Worship Band ***Compensation will be discussed for right candidate***
