Description
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — With COVID-19 cases booming and tests in higher demand than ever before, two new free testing sites have been announced in Chester County, and more are on the way.
The sites will be set up at the Chester County Government Services Center on Westtown Road in West Chester, as well as Technical College High School on Pennock's Bridge Road in West Grove.
"This time of high demand for all COVID-19 PCR and antigen tests, which follows the holiday season, means that all test providers are experiencing a tremendous volume of work, and most are undertaking testing by appointment only," Chester County Health Department Director Jeanne Franklin said in a statement. "We ask anyone needing a test to check regularly for availability of appointments at all locations."
The sites will be run by Curative, a testing company, which will be responsible for managing the sites, schedules, and appointments.
Further locations are expected to be announced "across Chester County" in the coming days.
Details on all the county's testing sites, including pharmacies, are available online.
