Nearly 100 Philly Public School Virtual Due To Staffing Shortages

PHILADELPHIA — Nearly 100 School District of Philadelphia Schools have shifted to virtual learning as the district deals with staffing issues related to the surge in coronavirus cases. The district Monday night said four more schools will be learning fully virtually through Friday. This brings the number of schools that have canceled in-person learning for the week to 98. See the full list of schools that are virtual here. Any changes to in-person learning schools based on overnight data will be shared with families and staff at the impacted schools by 6 a.m. each day. Changes based on staffing updates throughout the day will be shared by 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. each day.
