Press release from the City of Kansas City: 01/10/2022 2:23 PM NEWS RELEASE In observance of the MLK Holiday, City administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17. Trash and recycling services will be affected by one day, meaning your trash will be picked up one day later than normal. For example, if your regular pickup day is Monday, then your trash will be collected on Tuesday. Don't forget that you can always use the myKCMO app to request city services anytime and anywhere. Simply download and use the app to report potholes, illegal dumping, missed trash pickups and more. Kansas City Parks and Recreation is once again hosting the Annual MLK Nature Walk on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The restorative walk along Brush Creek starts at the 15 and Mahomies Playground at Martin Luther King Jr. Square Park, and ends at Bruce R.
