ELMHURST, IL — In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of domestic battery, DUI and disorderly conduct. Here is information from police reports: Domestic battery Brian Buonamici, 50, of Lemont, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Prospect on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Buonamici slapped a woman in the face and took her phone, preventing her from contacting the police. He has ties to Elmhurst. DUI Juan Maya-Felegrino, 45, of Chicago, was arrested about 3 p.m. Wednesday at North and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, improper lighting, improper display of a front license plate and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was released on bond. Tiarra Peet, 27, of Arlington Heights, was arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday at Lake and York on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and tinted windows. She was released on bond. Warrant Eileen Alvarez, 32, of Chicago, was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of West St. Charles Road on a Cook County warrant and charges of no valid driver's license and attempted obstructing of an officer. She was taken to the Cook County Jail. Disorderly conduct Lance Alexander, 59, of Maywood, was cited about 2:30 p.m. Friday at First and Addison on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was on a bus at the time of the incident. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
