Description
Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Emrick Boulevard in Bethlehem recently collected more than 75 pairs of socks for Safe Harbor Easton, a local homeless shelter that fosters lifelong success and stability in homeless men and women by addressing the root causes of their homelessness. Over the past month, students held a donation drive to benefit families supported by the organization. At the end of the collection, students prepared the socks for delivery to Safe Harbor. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.
