LAKEWOOD, OH — Dave's Hot Chicken will open a new location in Lakewood on Friday. The restaurant chain will be located at 15012 Detroit Ave. This is the chain's first Ohio location. The Lakewood location will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Dave's Hot Chicken started in East Hollywood in 2017. It has since spread throughout the west coast and Texas and has plans to open locations in Northeast Ohio and Illinois, according to the company website. Cleveland Scene previously reported that Dave's Hot Chicken also plans to open an Ohio City location in 2022.
