1 Killed In Mooresville House Fire

MOORESVILLE, NC — One person was discovered dead in a house fire on Foursquare Road Tuesday afternoon according to the Mount Mourne Fire Department. Iredell County EMS responded to the fire and pronounced the person dead on the scene. The fire began after 11 a.m. Tuesday and affected one single-family home. The fire was controlled shortly after firefighters responded, and an investigation is now underway. The victim has not yet been identified.
