A Server interacts the most with our Guests and is responsible for their overall experience each visit. Your focus is on the guest, making sure their expectations are met which requires you to be quick, yet accurate and have a polite and friendly attitude. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare and maintain assigned tables with special attention to sanitation and organization Greet customers immediately upon arrival, or once seated in your assigned section. Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages Take and serve orders Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff Maintain all floor stations cleanliness and restock as necessary Sweep designated area at end of shift, or as needed when debris is present Deal with complaints or problems with a cheerful outlook Preform assigned side-work based on section assignment Issue guest checks and collect payment Job Requirements Restaurant serving experience preferred Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy .Job Types: Part-time Pay: Depends on Server’s effort and Guest dining flow Supplemental Pay: Tips Benefits: Employee discount Physical Setting: Bar Casual dining restaurant Fast casual restaurant Schedule:  Part-time Weekend availability Some weekdays Evenings The Black Diamond Grill is an equal opportunity employer.
