Older drummer seeks psych-pop project

Description

Hi. I'm a 58 year old drummer. I have a one project going right now but I have time for another, assuming it’s the right project and works with my schedule. I want join or form a band that plays psychedelic pop. Something that incorporates fuzz pedal, 12-string guitar, combo organ or sitar and plays a mixture of originals and a few covers would be ideal. Throwing in raga-rock or other Eastern sounds and Baroque or melismatic flourishes would be great. Some reference points are The Beatles circa 66 - 68, Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd, The United States of America, Love, 13th Floor Elevators, The Dukes of Stratosphear, Robyn Hitchcock and Broadcast. A few things about me: I'm vaccinated and boosted and only want to work with others who are also vaccinated and boosted. The last band I was in that played out regularly was Les Etrangers, a 60's French garage-pop cover band. My drumming has a strong R&B influence. I have a very nice drum kit and a bunch of instruments (combo organ, Leslie speaker, sitar) that other people can use. You'd need to help me move the organ, as it weighs 100 lbs. I should mention that I live in an apartment and don't have a practice place of my own. If this is the kind of project you want to do, please contact me and please let me know that you actually want to play the sort of music I'm describing. A link to some of your music is helpful. If this isn't the direction you want to go in, then I wish you the best of luck finding the right person for your band.
