First off, I'm 55. I am not a professional musician. Just play around with the guitar and love classic rock and blues style music. I have some guitars and other music equipment. So, just wondering if there's some folks out there who would be interested in meeting every once in a while to try and play some music? I am currently looking for a place to rent to be able to meet at and use as a jam room here in Lubbock, Texas. I've been wanting to jam but I can't where I live, as I live in an apartment, and I really don't want to bother the neighbors. Also, not really looking to get into the "gigging" thing either. Just want to meet with people who kinda feel the same. You know who you are, you know? You love playing but you have jobs and families and other commitments, but would sometimes like the opportunity to get together with friends just to try and play your instruments from time to time and break away from the daily grind. I know a few covers and a few bits and pieces of other songs. Like I said, I am 55, I have my own equipment and I think there may be some of you out there who are around the same age, give or take, who might share the same idea. If so, give me a shout and let's see if we can get together and have some fun with this.
