Description
We are a TV, movie, and commercial prop rental company looking for an experienced individual with good handyman, craftsman skills for long term employment to repair, maintain, and construct medical and furniture props. We have a full service repair shop equipped with everything needed to perform the job. Creativity is a must in our business. You will need to have exceptional problem solving skills in the fast paced ever changing schedules world of the entertainment business. Repairs can range from replacing casters to repairing and refurbishing fiberglass MRI shells. Common repairs include rewiring light fixtures, replacing glass in cabinets, bondo and painting, etc.
-Must have at least 5 years experience with carpentry, electrical, welding, and painting.
-Working knowledge of how to safely use all tools and appliances provided in the repair shop, including the spray booth.
-Valid drivers license with clean record and ability to drive trucks up to 5 tons.
-Be willing to travel out of state periodically to do repairs at the other offices.
-Be able to work well with others to meet deadlines.
-Keep a clean organized work area.
-Building maintenance and repair experience.
