Description
PUNK-like INDUSTRIAL NEW WAVE band looking for synth/keyboard player. We currently have 4 members: bass, guitar, drums and a vocalist. We are looking for a keyboardist that can trigger samples/effects/sequences live. My name is Drew and I am the vocalist and I created the synth parts for the songs. They need to be broken up so the parts can be played as samples and not as one continuous track. Also, you can help us flesh out the songs as we perfect them. The 4 of us recently started working together. We have a bunch of songs that we are currently working on. We will also be throwing in a few covers. We practice/rehearse every Sunday evening at a rehearsal space in Levittown, PA. We live in Medford, Maple Shade and Trenton, NJ. We are looking to start gigging in Philly by spring/summer 2022. We have some connections so we will be able to gig once we are ready and sound tight. Our influences are: Ultravox (both pre and post 1980), The Faint, David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Berlin, Ministry (only from 1984 to 1991), T.Rex, The Human League, Nitzer Ebb, The Bar-kays, KISS (we really dig their vision and dedication), John Foxx, Depeche Mode, Poesie Noire, Prince, The Cramps, Visage, early Spandau Ballet, Cabaret Voltaire, Cybotron (the ones from Detriot and actually just the song Techno City), Pankow (not the German band but the ones from Italy), George Clinton, Funkadelic (and those insane album covers that Pedro Bell created), Die Warzau, Gil Scott-Heron, Fever Ray, The Knife, Pink Floyd (this influence doesn't come out in our music but we really dig the concept album thing) and a touch of 90s indie rock. We want the music to be danceable but nothing like the danceable music that is currently available. Also, we have to be a phenomenon and unlike anything else that is out there. Here is a link to a medley of 8 rough demos we are currently working on: https://youtu.be/1jvAtfRNHik If you dig what you hear and want to be a part of it get in touch with me via text, phone or email. We do require that you are grounded and sane. This is actually more important than your technical ability. Creatively, you can be almost any level of crazy just as long as you, personally, are not.
