DELIVER FREE PUBLICATIONS I’m looking for delivery of free publications throughout Sarasota or Manatee Counties, and currently have two positions available. Must be dependable, and make a good impression. Each month you will be expected to pick up publications at my warehouse in Sarasota and deliver them as soon as possible. All deliveries must be made during normal work hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays.) No night deliveries, no weekends, no holidays. You’ll probably work an average of 10 days per month, depending upon how many publications you’ll be delivering. You are not expected to deliver on days when we have severe weather. You will be paid by the stop, not by the hour, and the pay per stop will vary depending upon which publication you're delivering. I will provide you with established routes for each publication, but you may be asked to open new stops (which will require speaking with someone in authority to get permission to leave publications each month.) You will be expected to keep track of how many publications you deliver to each stop, as well as how many of last month's publications you pick up at each stop. You will also need to keep your route current by updating information each month when necessary (business name or address changes, etc.) You will need to submit this information to me as soon as possible after completing a route. This job is a 1099 Contractor job and you are responsible for any and all taxes that need to be addressed. Pay is every other Friday by direct deposit. This job is IDEAL for retired couples, and is a great way to supplement social security every month. Couples work well together, they work more quickly, and most efficiently (one drives, the other goes into each stop and picks up old publications and delivers the new ones.) Basic requirements . Cell phone with text and email capability . Dependable transportation with plenty of room (van or SUV) . Basic knowledge of Google Sheets software (you will need to input your delivery and pick-up numbers each month) . Available to deliver most weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. . Valid Florida driver's license and current auto registration/insurance Please don't think this is an easy job. You'll be delivering on days when the weather is hot and humid. If you service 70 stops in one day that means you will be getting in and out of your vehicle 70 times. You'll be stuck in traffic jams and construction delays. Days spent delivering can be frustrating, and I'm looking for someone to stick with it for more than a month. The money is good, you won't have someone staring over your shoulder all the time, and if you're lucky you can even do this job with someone you actually like working with! If you want to work four hours and stop someplace for lunch, that's great, as long as you can finish your deliveries by the deadline (which is never unreasonable.)
