1. Job Title: Racker (Large Parts)
2. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
b. Preparing customer parts
c. Racking customer parts
d. Unracking completed parts
e. Inspecting completed parts
f. Providing assistance to the processors
g. Cleaning/Stripping aluminum racks
h. Maintain a clean and safe workspace
3. Tasks:
a. Selecting the correct rack for the job
b. Cleaning/Stripping racks as necessary (both large and small parts racks)
c. Unwrapping and preparing parts for processing
d. Count and verify the number of parts racked matches the number of parts from the order
e. Racking parts to minimize racks marks and avoid air pockets
f. Unracking and drying completed parts
g. Inspecting completed parts for quality
h. Informing management of quality concerns
i. Providing assistance to other departments when racking is “caught up”
j. Maintaining the anodizing room as a clean and safe workspace
4. Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
a. High school diploma or GED
b. Good human relation skills required
c. Ability to lift 40 to 70 pounds repeatedly
d. Good hand-eye coordination
