Remodeler and Handyman Foreman Wanted $40-$45/hour * Guaranteed 40 hours a week Year Round Work. * 10% bonus of profit generated for company. * 2 weeks paid vacation We are a local remodeling and handyman company located in Anchorage, AK. We have been in business for 10 years. Most of the work we do is in Anchorage but we also perform in Eagle River and the Valley. We focus on kitchen and bathroom remodels in the winter, handyman repairs, drywall, painting and flooring. In the summer we get outside often and build decks, fences, siding, windows and doors and continue with some indoor remodeling and painting. We also perform handyman repairs and maintenance for some larger Home Owner Associations. The person we are looking for must have 10+ years experience in remodels and renovations. The candidate will be maintaining strong customer relationships, doing estimates, lining out crew leads, overseeing jobs, ensuring profitability, quality and productivity of company. They will also need to meet with management and share progress weekly. The candidate will need to be attentive to detail and able to take direction. When time allows or as needed the candidate will need to be able to get out in the field and work with the team on site. This is a main requirement especially in winter when things slow down. The candidate will be in charge of 5- 6 people under him. We have a few customers that we are on call with that may require the candidate to work after hours. This may come up once every 2 months. In the summer the candidate will be working 10-20 hours overtime per week to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Knowledge And Requirements for job: * Positive attitude, dependable, hardworking, honest and neat in appearance. * Strong work ethic, self motivated, ability to take constructive criticism and correction. * Knowledge and skill of estimating residential renovations, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, carpentry, decks, fences, siding, windows and doors, drywall, tile, flooring, painting and handyman repairs * Ability to work well as a team leader and independently. * Focused on safety of yourself and the team you are overseeing * Good driving record * Available on call if needed (This is not very often but it does come up) *Ability to lift more than 75 pounds *Must be able to pass drug test ( heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, phencyclidine) * You must be able to follow direction and interact with coworkers and clients in a professional, respectful manner.
