Site Laborer Position in Philadelphia Center City-based real estate development and construction management company seeks a responsible and reliable Site Laborer. Many opportunities for advancement as our projects get larger and more complex. The ideal candidate must be extremely reliable, trustworthy, and have the desire to learn about the construction industry with the goal of advancing to a supervisory role. Construction Responsibilities: 1. Accept delivery of construction materials, unload and stage on sites. 2. Move, stage, and prepare materials on site as needed. 3. Ensure sites are kept clean and broom-swept. 4. Materials runs to supply house, big-box store, etc. 5. Changing locks; erecting temporary site fences. 6. Miscellaneous light carpentry as needed. 7. Many various other duties needed on site as assigned. General Requirements: 1. Maintain a valid driver’s license. 2. Have a reliable personal vehicle to travel between job sites each day. 3. Maintain valid automobile insurance, listed as named insured on any personal vehicle used. 4. Pass initial and occasional drug test (marijuana use with valid state-issued marijuana license will not result in failure of drug test). 5. Produce and maintain current W9 with Employer. 6. Complete background check to the satisfaction of Employer. 7. Provide no less than two (2) references from prior employers. 8. Provide advance notices for any absences or days off (“no-call no-show” will result in immediate termination of contract). 9. Wear close-toed shoes at all times, and clothing appropriate for construction sites. 10. Use BuilderTrend mobile app, with location services enabled, to track hours, mileage, and log site visits. 11. Ability to lift 75-100 lbs. Hours are 7:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday. Position reports to the Director of Construction. To be considered for this position, please submit the following items: 1.
