Job Position: Roof Repair Technician Job Type: Full Time Hourly Rate: $17-$25 Base on experience Experienced roofing repair technician. Strong understanding of shingle and flat roof systems or a strong willingness to learn. This position is based out of our Janesville, WI location and will service southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Job Description: Roofing Repair Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting roof leaks, developing a solution using standard roofing practices and executing the repair. Also, the ability to understand repair estimates and scopes of work to execute repair describe. This position will work on all types of roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, Modified, Metal, and Asphalt shingles). Key Responsibilities: • Identify the roof problem and report the information to operations and customer. • Follow scope of work. Speak with operations or sales staff for additional directions. • Report additional work to operation and customers. • Write down materials used for repair and a description of work completed. • Take photos before, during and after the job. Job Requirements: • Valid driver’s license and ability to be on company’s insurance. • Available to work Monday through Friday during daylight hours and weekends if needed. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Ability to climb ladders and walk around on roofs. • Ability to lift 50lbs of weight while walking and climbing up ladders and stairs. • Good communication skills both verbally and written. • Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
