Looking to rehome our LGD. Gus is a great dog and very sweet. I got him from some friends a couple years ago when moved and sold their goats. He was raised with goats, sheep, chickens, and other livestock but was also raised with other livestock guard dogs and has not adjusted well to being alone. He still protects the goats when anything is around but prefers to stay in the yard with my other dogs. He is not like a lot of LGDs I have been around and is not at all aggressive towards unknown people, he just stays away until he knows you better. I believe he will do great working again as long as there is another dog with him. He would also make a great family pet. Please keep in mind he will desire to be with other dogs.
